I would like to see the swaps go through the summer. If everyone uses common sense the chicks and animals should not be in any danger. Most people have cars or SUV.s with AC. I wouldn't put a bunch of birds in crates in the back of a hot pick up with the sun beating on the birds. They have swaps in Florida with no problem. We just need a place with shade and lots of drinking water and common sense. If it is a very hot day and we don't think it would be safe for the birds and animals, I just won't go

And it's only 5 to 10 minutes from the mass border

also bring a misting bottle of wter, we have always misted our birds at events when they get hot too cool them down.

I also liked that barred rock patterned chick with the funky hair.
that's too cute! (can't show that one to the kids, they will have to have one!)

I wish the "get together" was on a day there wasn't a swap, I just dont know what we will do with all the chicks/birds while we are hangin out

Not that they cant sit in the car for a little while, but if its hot or cold its gonna be a tad crapy

I have to say, Putting on these swaps and going to all of them is a lot of hard work and time consuming. For those people like chickn, Gypsy. chick magnet, shay, etc etc.... You deserve a

I know if I was you I would need a break. It would be nice to have at least one or two a Month for the summer. You got us all going and addicted to these swaps and now you want to take candy away from the babies :

But if I have to I can wait till September
