Did everyone sell a lot of Chicks at the swap today? Is their any funky chicks left for the Merrimack Swap?

we did well.
it wasnt warm and sunny
i have 3 partridge that are too young to know if they will frizzle, i actually kept them home on purpose because they are newly hatched and i dont know until a bit of feathers show if they frizzle. i actually have eggs in the bator to hatch tomorrow also, so we shall see, what i have 6 days!! i think i should have atleast 1 for you.

I'm glad there are more swaps coming up! I'm sure we will attend other swaps this spring. I guess it's good we were missed today---lol. But i need to work on my coop as much as i can while the weather's good and while i have the hubby and two older kids home to help me with the two youngest. During the week, i'll do what i can, but i am limited on projects when i have to run after a busy 3 yr old, and don't have someone who can help with the 8 month old. well, baby is done nursing again, so i'm going back out to keep building. What glorious weather!

have them do the run, then you can put the kids in the run while you work!! LOL ok, maybe not

i got 2 of ChickMagnet's Silkie crosses. both are cute and very sweet! i hope both end up as hens!

to bad i missed the polish i was hoping for.

they seem to have gone quickly. here's hoping my clutch of eggs in the bator all hatch this time around!

maybe next year i will be out there at the swaps selling what i end up with.

i'd love to go to one with some of our craft items.​

I had a GREAT DAY!

My interview(s) went really well. The woman in charge of the animals wants me to work with her, but it looks like they may be duking it out over me.

And they are fine with my working Monday thru Friday with the hours I need and not working weekends. AND she is even more fine with me taking the summer months off. Since paying for daycare would be my paycheck.

I hope to hear something soon. So I am keeping my fingers crossed still. I dont have it til I HAVE it.

I will be seeing you all next weekend at Merrimack though.

I saw in your pictures that it was cloudy in Chichester today? It was gorgeous sun here all day and got up to 67 degrees! We're near Keene, NH. But I guess it's gonna rain tomorrow.

I wanna keep building---maybe i still will if the rain is light. One can hope anyway. Once my coop is built, i'll have room for more chickens!

I had fun today, got to meet some nice people and see some old friends. The weather could have been better, but it wasn't raining so I guess it wasn't too bad.

I also found homes for my 2 roosters brought, though I did behave and not bring any more home. My husband wanted to know if I wasn't feeling well. LOL.
