CHICK-A-DEES Hatching Thread!!! 🐣

I am so looking forward to watching these chicks grow. I wanted jubilee orps but my husband said they looked too mangy I had to limit it to just a few colors anyway, so ended up getting partridge instead of jubilee. Second year now and I'm still trying to get that partridge hen... Last year's bunch produced only 1 partridge and it was male, this year I have 5 feathering out right now and none are looking too promising gender-wise either...

He said the same thing when I wanted a tortie cat... You know the ones that are really speckled. I guess he has a thing about (against) speckled patterns, haha I really hope I get at least one partridge hen out of this new bunch.

So slight problem. Ups came and I have a gate so they decided that it was best to try again later. So the fan is probably not gonna be here until Monday.

Hey all!
Day 7 was today!
First Candle! I saw 2 of them moving and their hearts were beating!
Here are the results!
4/4 Porcelain Duccles
3/3 Mille Fleurs
1/1 Ayam Cemani
1/1 Chocolate Laced Orp
1/2 Jubliee Orp
1/1 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
So. We lost one and it wasn’t even fertile. So we are now at 11/12!

How are the air cells going?
I just put in the fan today.

About 99.5 Degrees and Around 31% humidity.
Any advice? How am I doing so far?
