Chick acts "drunk" can't figure out what's wrong??

Two years ago I had a little buff orpington chick with the same problem. I thought her head was screwed on backwards because she walked funny and it seemed like she was always on her back. I tried correcting her relentlessly for about a week until she finally got it. She was slow to molt and didn't turn out to be as pretty or intelligent as the others, but she is one of my favorite hens and lays good eggs. I wouldn't put her down and give her a fighting chance. Chickens are strong and in my experience are very adaptable! Good luck, make sure she stays plenty warm, has access to fresh food and water, and isn't being bullied by the other chicks!

What do I do???

Google botulism. Also known as limber neck. Just had this happen and 7 of my ducks that I had cooped died. I scrubbed their coop, food bowls and water troughs and all is better. My ducks don't have E. Coli but was growing in a food dish that had "caked" food in the bottom which was releasing a toxin in small doses and made them very ill. 7 died and 5 are still alive. They would fall over and kick their legs, stumble like they were drunk and was not able to quack at all. Apparently ducks need very clean living quarters too!!

What you may have experienced is what is called “crazy chicken disease”.
But in today's world it is most likely Polioencephalomalacia (PEM) a neurologic disease.

In the cattle industry PEM is being caused by excess sulfur in feed stock.
It paralyzes and has even killed many cattle.
I'm sure the same feed stock is in chicken feed.

I have an almost 3 wk old light brahma chick that acts drunk! No obvious injuries. She just can't walk. When she tries, she flops over, flails about, etc. She didn't act this way initially, I first noticed it about 4 days ago. I began treating her with Sulmet solution as the most obvious answer via Google was Coccidiosis. No other bird in my flock of 15 is showing any signs of problems. We've been treating her for 3 days now with little to no sign of improvement. We've isolated her, hand fed her food/water, kept her warm...but still not getting any better! At this point we're ready to put her down. Is there something else I'm missing?
I have had the same issue with my last lot of chicks, I was told it was a vitamin D deficiency, so I gave them vitamin D and apple cedar vinegar and they came right within 1 day. I now how two chicks about 10 weeks old, showing the same symptoms, I have been treating them for several days now with vit D, apple cider vinegar, sardines and a probiotic, and are not showing any improvement as yet, but I won’t give up.

They've been vax'd for Marek's, on medicated feed. Have been fine until late last week.
They told me medicaid feed has something in it can cause vitamin deficiency. Could be that. Get a pack of powder vitamin to add to water. I have 1 with same issues, one out of 17. No others acting like this so I'm not sure. She seems to get better but then it starts back
Make her drink water. That seems to be helping mine. Good luck and best wishes
