I have had the same issue with my last lot of chicks, I was told it was a vitamin D deficiency, so I gave them vitamin D and apple cedar vinegar and they came right within 1 day. I now how two chicks about 10 weeks old, showing the same symptoms, I have been treating them for several days now with vit D, apple cider vinegar, sardines and a probiotic, and are not showing any improvement as yet, but I won’t give up.I have an almost 3 wk old light brahma chick that acts drunk! No obvious injuries. She just can't walk. When she tries, she flops over, flails about, etc. She didn't act this way initially, I first noticed it about 4 days ago. I began treating her with Sulmet solution as the most obvious answer via Google was Coccidiosis. No other bird in my flock of 15 is showing any signs of problems. We've been treating her for 3 days now with little to no sign of improvement. We've isolated her, hand fed her food/water, kept her warm...but still not getting any better! At this point we're ready to put her down. Is there something else I'm missing?
They told me medicaid feed has something in it can cause vitamin deficiency. Could be that. Get a pack of powder vitamin to add to water. I have 1 with same issues, one out of 17. No others acting like this so I'm not sure. She seems to get better but then it starts backcacklehatchery.com
They've been vax'd for Marek's, on medicated feed. Have been fine until late last week.
