I really don't think that will help, beware of 'advice' from farm store employees. Except maybe some Nutridrench, applied via a soaked Qtip held against side of beak, it will wick into mouth and chick should swallow it. You can try to give water this way too. Don't squirt it into her mouth or you could 'drown' her.No visible wounds and her leg doesn't seem broken. Maybe just hurt from the trauma. I've felt around on her stomach and sides and I don't feel anything that feels broken either. Her little belly is just swollen and it wasn't like that before. She is not eating or drinking anything. When I move her to them she crawls back to the corner. Love her heart. I feel horrible she has went through this. I pray she makes it. I will check with tractor supply and see if I can get something to help her. I have put her by herself with a lamp, food and water, the other chicks are too wild to have her with them.
She probably has internal injuries, the swollen belly. If she doesn't perk up in 24-48 hours, I would euthanize.
