Chick backing up after drinking.

I've got my b-complex softgels. Last question would be, how often am I offering it in mash? Once or twice a day, etc? She was in such rough shape tonight. It's hard to watch. 💔

Every bite until she improves. I worry about proper dosing when it's a longer duration (a week or more).
Sometimes they don't, if so probably something genetic that you can't help.

I agree. To give vitamin B a chance I would give it often.

Are the soft gels liquid inside? Mine came as capsules which I opened up and it was powder inside. You might have to dissolve the soft gels in warm water. Vitamin B (all of them) are water soluble so that should work just fine. Then use the warm vitamin B water to make the mash.
When you say she was in rough shape do you mean walking backwards all the time or is she beginning to look ill?

They are a yellowish liquid. I was able to puncture one and squeeze the contents into hot mash.

After a successful afternoon, she was walking backwards even more (without having taken food or water). She'll have good stretches throughout the day, but it does feel like each "bad" episode is getting progressively worse.

Updated video from this morning.

Every day just gets worse. Fed her some specialty mash with the B-Complex and Vitamin E (saw the suggestion on another thread, but I'm not allowing the other chicks to have any since it's fat-soluble). Not sure what else to do but wait it out.

There's no chance this is Marek's or something contagious to the other chicks, right? I mean, she went from hatchery to box to my house. She showed up like this.

Seems very happy otherwise. She had a successful drink shortly after the video, then ran and played with everyone else.

Hate to be that person (the one who cried wolf), but could it be mareks? 🤔

I was worried when Aliss started doing her backwards zoomies that it was something neurological, and/or possible mareks because I read that it can cause funny walking (backwards, high stepping, stuff like that).

Though if it were mareks I guess at least a some of the other chicks would also be showing signs? Maybe?

Did you read my mind or did I read yours? 😆
