He needs to stay warm....the bator is a good spot...but NOT where the others can bother him.
A coffee cup with a napkin folded under him would be good.
There is not much you can do but wait.

I have never seen a chick with this much blood from hatching by itself.
Something isn't right and it may not make it.
The less you mess with it the better.

Put corn starch on. Put neosporin on. Put chick on soft surface with no hard areas that could injure the chick. Keep warm. She'll act tired bc of blood loss. That's normal

ok, so update on chickadee (that's what i named her ): she is awake and moving, there is a scab over the wound and she doesn't seem be be bleeding . I think she may have cut herself on one of them empty eggshells. none of the others seem to be hurt and she is walking around doing her normal chicky stuff . I think she will be OK.
