Chick "cakes" for shipping?

I recently bought chicks from a breeder. He had a chuck of what he called chick cakes in with them.looked like chucks of peanutbutter fudge mixed with starter and seed. Does anyone know what these are made of, where do I get them? Of how do I make them? The chicks ate off them for several days and didn't waste any food. No mess to clean, no smell. They were great. I want to use them for all my chicks.

You can buy them at tsc. Just make sure they also get real chick feed too. That's just a snack for them and isn't intended to be their only diet. On the package it says only allow them to eat the snack for small amounts of time a day.
