Unfortunately, if it is wryneck, the chick need the vitamins as soon as possible. Hopefully it will hold on until morning. Take the sick chick off of medicated chick starter while it is on the vitamins. The "medication" interferes with absorption. Do you have any other kind of vitamins without iron?
 
i have the sav-a-chick electrolyte and vitamin supplement you put in water, but that's it. they've had that in with them all afternoon/night.

she's chirping at me when i move her heat and she's on, but she won't open her eyes.
 
hatched may 26, no treats, the only one i had to help was mr splayed leg, they are on shavings, nothing that i haven't been doing with the others i've been raising...
 
yes and yes. it was always calmer than the rest, but it was up and eating and drinking and alert. i just gave her some more water and she opened her eyes and looked at me. she was fine tonight and then i checked on them and she was like this. she's doing the same thing the other one did, where it looks almost as if they are gasping for breath, but there's no sounds coming from her.
