Yes she is and a really good mother. I've used her to raise day old chicks (just stuffed them under her after dark) and last year hatched some d'Uccle chicks from shipped eggs. She doesn't get picked on and is actually top of the pecking order. Of course with only 3 hens there isn't much competition.
