Chick days question

Not sure if this should go in the coop and run page or not but.

So I figured out my sq ft of my coop and how many birds will live comfortably in there, I currently have five in there I can only fit ten standards my local Southern States is having chick days and the ad says they can only be purchased in lots of six or more then I read somewhere some feed stores let you get by with less so my question is do you think they will let me only have five?

My TSC has a minimum of 6, though I was at TSC one day when a guy came in and told the employee there that he had recently purchased 6 chicks and one died so they let him have one more. I am not sure if your TSC will let you buy only 5 but it is worth a shot.
