Chick died in pip

I would wait until all actively hatching chicks have finished hatching. When or if to intervene is one of those difficult things to determine but it's low urgency with chicks that are externally pipped because they are getting oxygen and perfectly fine waiting in most situations. Waiting longer in their case is better. I just felt it was something worth telling you to watch for since you were seeing bubbly and drowned chicks. I wouldn't worry too much about humidity at this point. The actively hatching and drying chicks will cause it to spike.

At this point should I quickly remove the two sponges on the top of the wire? Or just leave it?
