Chick dying...

Just an update... Kept the chick separate for a few hours in another box. Only had one heat light so we put her back in with the others. No problems and everyone was happy this morning. Now she is super friendly and is the only one that calmly lets you pick her up. Gave everyone a nutri-drench drop (there has to be an easier way to get their beaks open, no?) and some mixed into their water for today.

All is good in the brooder! Thanks for the advice in response and on the site. Really helpful to a chicken novice.

I have found that hummingbird food will get most chicks to drink. I've even found hummingbird food that has calcium in it, to put out in the springtime, and they LOVE it.

OH THANK GOD!!!
