Chick Emergency! PLEASE Help!!!

Thanks for the advice! I gave her a LITTLE bit of egg yoke wich seemed to perk her up just a bit. I think I will try the yogurt next......

Please make sure that the poly-vi-sol you used was the IRON FREE version. I didn't see that noted in the above comments suggesting it.

The yogurt should do the trick it works great for cats & dogs too.
Maybe add a little oatmeal flour with some egg.
Hope she perks up. We are boosting for her.

Thanks for the help! She is acting more normal today, she is pecking and I think she is drinking... she is still acting slightly sleepy so I'll go try the yogurt! (ummm what kind of yogurt should I give her?)

I usuallly get the plain yogurt and try to get organic, though you don't have to. I also make sure it's got the active live cultures. I have used vanilla yogurt in a pinch and they've done fine. Just make sure it's mixed in with something since most don't like the feel/texture of it and you'll be wearing more of it than they will be eating!

Poly Vi Sol without iron is usually found in either the vitamin aisle or infant supply aisle of Walmart or most grocery/pharmacy stores.

Glad to hear your baby is doing better today!

The chick is............... ALIVE! She is alive and well! she is doing much better and acting normal! Thank you all for your help! I dont know what I'd do with out ya'll!
