I hatched two quail chicks three weeks ago, and one of them has had this everlasting eye problem since it hatched. Its eye looks infected and yellowish discharge covers her eye, making her unable to see out of it. I have wiped it off, but it keeps coming back. Her other eye is clear, and her brother doesn't have any problems. Any suggestions on what this might be, and what I can do to treat it?

Get ready for some sticker shock on the price, but I highly recommend a product called Vetericyn Opthalmic gel. I keep a bottle of both the opthalmic and the wound care type in the house for all animals injuries, from the dogs to my tiniest chickens.

The price may seem outrageous, but one bottle lasts a very long time.
