i read that you can not put two diffrent age chicks together becasue they will fight and try to kill eachother.
like a 2week old and a 4 week old cant be put together if this is true please telll me thank you

It can be done, but it's a slow process. I usually put them in the same brooder, older chicks at the cooler end and younger chicks at the warmer end- but they need to have space to get close to or away from the heat lamp. I use a baking rack, old refrigerator shelf or old closet shelf to separate them.

After a week or two, I let them start mixing together, but only when supervised! Eventually, they start to get along, usually after a month or so.

BUT if you are bringing in chicks from a different source.... you need to quarantine them, in case they are carrying disease or parasites.

It's a hassle, any way you look at it. Good luck!
