When can I start to feed my chicks scraps? How old do they have to be?

You can do it any time but I don't recommend it. I wait till they're at least 10 weeks old because the feed is optimal nutrition based on lots of research in the nutritional needs of chickens at various ages. Adding a lot of scraps can cause some nutritional deficiencies affecting growth and future health.
