Went out and found a two-month old chick stuck between a fence and wall upside down.
No idea how long she was like that; it had been several hours since I was out. Her head was not stuck downwards, and it looks like other than cutting her toes a bit, there are no other injuries. She seems to be moving about just fine as well.
She chatted to me the whole time after I freed her and held her against me inside my coat for a bit. She also ran about with the other birds a little, but I decided to bring her inside in a small crate. She has eaten some mash and had a good drink of electrolyte water (I wasn't sure what to do but thought this would be okay.) and is still chatting with me. I know this can kill a bird; anything else I should do or look for?
