chick gender guesses?

Hi everyone,

We have 4 new chicks in the family. Our hen did a great job, especially as they all hatched on different days (lost the fifth that hatched).

I know you can feather sex, not sure if it's only certain breeds. I think 2 of the 4 are too old to be feather sexed but interested in guesses etc .

The little black one is the youngest about 3 days old. The lightest white one about 4 days I think. The grey one about 6 and the other white one 5 days.

Sorry. This is the black one. All chicks have a buff Orpington daddy.

Idk how to feather sex but they sure are cute!! I think they have to be breed for feather sexing...I'm not familiar w/ how that's done either but someone will have an answer for you !! Congrats on your babies

Lol yea love visiting my babies ! I kno surprised are fun & so is the guessing .. I have some silkies that have kept me guessing for months

. Now I have some new mystery babies (possibly Cochins ) get to guess gender & breed!!
