chick gender guesses?

They are doing really good & I believe both girls!!!! No combs or redness at all in either & friend has the counter part as we call it to my golden laced baby & it has a huge red comb

!! They are growing like crazy too'!!

Ahh that's good news!! Hopefully they stay yellow. It sounds promising. After doing some research I'm concerned I have 3 boys and hopefully a grey girl- not great!

Sorry henerz101 got a bit confused. You won't see many clues at 2 weeks anyways. Hopefully they'll be more visible to you soon.

Awww sorry hear that .It seems like everyone has way more roosters this year...at least that's been the general consensus of everyone I encounter .so far every set of chicks I've had since spring g been half or greater were boys

'! Your gonna have pass your rooster luck into someone who needs some lol

Thanks aha. We tend to hatch more roosters and I was hoping maybe this time we would be lucky! Oh well can't be helped. Will just have to wait and see what they are. We already have an issue having two roosters, I'm already growing fond of the our white chick but all roos will have to go to other homes.

Even with a possible Leghorn mum for the white two I can't deny that they must be boys as they're all aged 7-8 weeks. Can't decide on the black one for sure yet but probs a boy isn't it :/.

Hmmmm I'm not real good w/ regular chickens lol I'm more familiar w/ silkies but even tho comb seems big (is that normal this breed mix?) it doesn't seem as red. Mayb there is still hope for a girl

Our leghorn hen has a very big red comb but when I read about chicks they normally say combs should remain small and yellow for hens for ages. Aha I like your optimism.
