chick gender guesses?

Hi sorry didn't know you had replied!! Those two look lovely . I don't know all our hen breeds but mummy is only the real mum to our black Chick. The rest belong to other hens. I'm looking to take a few pics later

Struggled to get good pics through coop but here are my best ones

Grey chick-(oldest- no.1)-



The black chick( baby chick no.4) was hard to get a good pic of. Still tiny and teeny yellow comb.

chick no.2 and no.3

the first 1 here, (chick no.2) is the only chick with the longer tail feathers.

Greyish white chick (chick no.3)

Longer tailed white chick no.2 looks like it has some pink in its comb at diff angles.

6 week update? losing track aha. Grey one is probably 6 weeks. the black 5 and the white two in between 5-6.

Our pure white chick has the biggest comb. Is fully feathered and has a tail just like it's mum (who has a very large red comb herself)

I'm not good at working out which chick has legs that are thick

Our baby is looking more and more boy like to me. Reminds me of an old roo we used to have.

Oldest chick has the smallest comb with the most yellow left in it. Fingers crossed it's a hen!



this one was too shy to come out to see me. It's still quite fluffy on it's head.

I'm glad to see urs 6 weeks due to fact tht I bought some 2 week olders and a broody hen and there still abit fury aha but I dnt know the gender as there mother is very protective

So you have a couple of 8 week old chicks?? Have you caught much look of them?

They are doing really good & I believe both girls!!!! No combs or redness at all in either & friend has the counter part as we call it to my golden laced baby & it has a huge red comb

!! They are growing like crazy too'!!
