What kind of chicks did you get?

Cari, I also saw you on the backyardherds page (meat rabbits). How long have you been raising meat rabbits and how productive has it been for you?

I got BLR bantams and cornish x, all the others are the "other mommies"... my friend and I split an order... aren't they cute tho! too bad they aren't ALL mine! LoL that's chicken math for you!

I just got into the rabbits, I currently have 5 breeders, and 2 does are due the end of this month with their first litters!

What could be cuter than baby chicks and bunnies!

We have 2 does and a buck. They breed on the way home (LOL) a few weeks ago, so we expect our first two litters at the ned of next week. Should be interesting/fun.

Come Easter, we will be the hit of the neighborhood!

LOL I know that's why I need an incubator! LoL.

I have a feeling my chicken numbers would go up REALLY fast...

I dipped all their beaks in water when I first got them out of the box and then I sat them in the food dish. Everyone figured it out right away. They were pretty hungry.​
