Chick grower pellets

My meaties were three weeks old yesterday and I was almost out of chick starter so i bought a bag of chick grower pellets. They are about half the size of layer pellets but i am concerned that they are to big for them eat/swallow. Should I run some throught my food processor?

I have not had this problem, but I would try wetting it down. I've been wetting my feed and that has worked just fine and I don't have to lug as much water out to the tractor (no hose). So I'm thinking that wetting the pellets would make them edible for the babies.
