We got this little buff orpington from the local feed store a few days ago. They have been having issues with him not feeling too good and had him separated. They put them back in with the other chicks but they were picking on him cuz he was smaller. They offered to give him to me to see if I could nurture him back to health. he seems to be eating and drinking okay, just can't walk well. He needs to use his wings to help him along. It looks like his joints on his feet are swollen maybe? The top of his feet where his toes meet. I'm not sure if there is something I can do to help him walk easier

I can’t tell if the chick‘s feet look swollen, they look okay in the pictures, but do they feel hot to touch? If she can’t walk well, is it just that she is weak? Give her some vitamin B in her water. Get Nutri-Drench for her. Tractor Supply carries these items. Feed her a good chick feed with 20% protein. Keep her In a warm brooder. Line the bottom of the brooder with something non-slippery. I use puppy pads.
I always give chicks that need a nutritional boost a hard boiled egg-yolk Once a day. They love it and it gives them needed nutrition. Remember that’s what fed her in the egg.
She might just have gotten a slow start in life, and need a little time and pampering.
