From my cackle hatchery surprise order. Is it even a chicken?

Hmmm interesting. I hatch EEs all the time and have never had any, even the males look like that, maybe becaue the hatchery has different breeding stock then me

EE's can look like anything. This looks a little different than my own, but it has green legs and a beard + pea comb = EE

Hatchery EE's are definitely a crap shoot at what you'll end up with, but 99 percent of the time a cockerel is delivered in the box.

what did you order the hatchery choice? can you get a pic of its comb? it doesnt look like a chicken to me :-/ but thats just me. it has some really long legs to me
