Yesterday was day 0 on my incubator for about 13 eggs. One egg had a chick chirping/peeping but had not shown external pip all the way through membrane. After seeing still no pips at all this morning, checked the noisy egg and can still hear some noise, but has not broken all the way through the membrane, there is a tiny piece of shell off on the outside.

Do I just wait it out or at what point do I assist? I have candled a few of the other eggs and see some movement but no pips or noise.

Help! This is my first hatch.

Temp is 99.5 F and Humidity is generally between 65% - 75%

How long and he chick been chirping and did you see any movement in the other eggs? I’m not an expert but I hope thus helps abit. I have been told not to help unless the chick has not hatched in 48 hours but that might be after the piped stage. I hope You can get more information. Good luck.

Chirping since midday yesterday, so it's been about 24 hours at this point. No progress towards hatch that I can see at this point.

There is another egg that looks like it may be starting the hatch process but I don't want to open the incubator to see if the other one is still chirping/moving

Update? What happened since Thursday? I hope you have new babies😍

Hatched, but took it a loooong time. Unfortunately that chick has some issues with its feet legs that we have tried helping to correct but it doesn't seem to be working.

Since then I had 4 other eggs hatch, all healthy chicks from eggs that had been refrigerated for about 2 weeks before being incubated.

Hoping for the best with the chick and leg issue. Fantastic news about your other chicks!
