Yes it was definitely an adventure! Not quite ready to laugh about it yet, but it'll be a story to tell years from now ... mommy and her gigantic belly crawling along the garden beside the deck looking for chick feet
And then of course the "dead" chick left in the ditch. Oh my chicken!
Chicks seem a bit spastic today. One in particular, which may be the girl who didn't want to get caught from under the deck, is very skittish. The kids have been told to give them a rest (easier said than done!). Luckily we have plans to bake birthday cakes and cupcakes today, so that should keep them occupied
