7 weeks now- no crowing
Most here think cockerel most on fb think pullet some think leghorn some think Cornish

I’m so confused! Chicken is too -my friend who was the chick whelper / brooder has it thinking it’s a peoplr

Leghorn, definitely, with that classic slender build.

As for gender, I'm on the fence. This breed is known for their unusually large combs on both male and female, though cockerels begin developing a little earlier. Are you able to post in another few weeks, just to confirm?

Oh yes, the chicken is staying either way. I do have to say my friend might keep it as a house chicken as she's very bonded with it. I do have a coop and a run for it though.
