Chick naming thread!

We have 4, the buffs are Stella and Luna (Luna being the rounder of the two), the SLW is Aria (after a rebellious girl on Game of Thrones) and RIR is Kaia (the sea in Hawaiian). Didn't plan on all the names ending in "A", but so it went...

I'm thinking I may only name my roosters. Mostly after boxers ( my 2nd favorite sport), but when I get my Buckeye chickens I'll probably name them after great Ohio State football players. Ex- Tatum, A.J., LeBeau

We are first time owners. We purchased four week old chicks today. We are huge Downton Abbey fans, so we went with that theme. Our Rhode Island Red is Lady Mary, we have two Gold laced Cochins named Lady Edith and Lady Sybil, and last but not least is Mrs. Patmore. I am excited, but nervous. Hoping we don't lose any.

I have three easter egger bantams who aren't named yet.

Downton Abbey's Edith, Sybil, and Mary are contenders.
Also on the list are Charlie's Angels Jill, Sabrina, and Kelly.
Powerpuff Girls Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup.
Moon Goddesses Artemis, Selene, and Hecate.
The Fates Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos.
The Graces Aglaea, Euphrosyne, and Thalia.

Any other suggestions? Votes?

All of these are great! I love reading this :) they all have such different personalities its funny how many crazy names there are out there. I still don't know what to call them yet :D

The goddesses look better on paper, but the powerpuff girls comes off the tongue easier. By-the-way, if someone would've told me 6 months ago that I'd be participating in a forum thread about naming chickens, I would have laughed in their face. Funny how things work out

silkie: poof, showgirl: lady gaga, polish: houdinni, cochin: juggernaut, and our final chick who is a maran is waiting for her personality to come through for her name. so far she has been called flash, chick fury... lol she's quich and a moth theif!

In my mix of chicks this year I got a bantam something roo that is just starting to look like a chicken! till then the lil fella looked like a scrappy dark Sparrow so I named him "Sparrow". he's still the smallest of the 16 chicks but most active and most likely to jump back when the other chicks start flexing on him! lol
