So the chicks seem to be IB at first then turn gray

I have about 10 eggs that are suppose to hatch this weekend

and the other 10 next weekend, plus some that still have to go in

Just wanted to say that 10 eggs go into the hatcher tomorrow night and we will see how many hatch - keeping my fingers crossed

good luck we had some hatchs that we did great on an some just plain sucked.i think alot was that our male did not breed much with our white hen so alot of her eggs were not fertile.hope all goes well.

I screwed up my weeks only 2 hatch now and 10 next weekend so I did get 2 for 2 today

Ok here are some pics of the 2 newly hatched (8/14) chicks. The one on the top in the first 2 pics and on the left in the bottom 2 pics I believe will be charcoal but the other pied looking one is from the BS purple hen:
