Its an easter egg that I use to hold the probe for the thermostat in my homemade bator. It works really well as it sits at the same level as the eggs. For a closer look check out my bator that I entered into the homemade incubator contest.

Good idea on the thermostat. That is really cool...I just bought one. Easier for me....I can 't build anything and hubby to busy. I sent him your link though.

They are so cute! I just put in 42 eggs in my new hovabator. i sure hope I have just as good of hatches as you did! I'm excited

I love the name Winston and hope to have a big male lab to name Winston, someday! I like your brooder....it looks nice and roomy. Do you have any pictures of the brooder from further back? Also, what type of bedding is that? Thanks.

Here are some pics of my brooder, goldnchocolate. It is made out of plywood. My dad made it for me. I am using regular hay for bedding. It is roomy!

It has a wire bottom and you can take it apart also.
