So we release our chick's in a cage outside for them to eat grass, in the afternoon when I checked on them, one of them was squished under the side of the cage. We do not know how this has happened, but the chick was opening its beak every once in a while. We wrapped it up in a towel, and placed a light over it and it has opened its beak more frequently. I do not know where to go from here, does anyone have any ideas (ps this chick is about a month old, but the smallest of the batch, almost half the size of the others)

The chick is still very young so should monitor it while it's outside. I would suggest to give it access to food and water, if you have a heat lamp or a heat source, that will probably make it feel better too. Good luck! :fl
