Chick rescue

My son found a chick running down a busy street one night 3 months ago and brought her home. Despite the protruded broken wing and greasy back ( i think she got rolled by a car) she survived and is thriving. Lorraine is part of the family now and we like having her around so much that we decided to get her a few friends. I built a modified version of the Purina coop and attached a run. Lorraine pretty much cruises the yard most of the day chasing lizards, but sneaks into the house at every opportunity to roost on the couch.

I look forward to learning more from this thread and sharing our experiences as well!
