I've done some reading and from what I've heard, sneezing isn't a good sign. I believe my chick is occasionally sneezing, but other than that is completely normal. It just sounds like a small burst of air. Should I be worried?

If you have a video of her, that would be good. (videos have to be uploaded to youtube or a similar platform, then provide us a link)

How old is your chick?

An occasional sneeze or snick from an active chick that is eating/drinking and growing, I would not worry about. Dust, feed, water and bedding can get into the nostrils - observe your chick to see if their is a coincidence between the sneeze and what she's been doing.

IF the sneezing increases and/or she becomes lethargic, has mucous, watery/bubbly eyes, has coughing, wheezing, rattling or has a reduction in food/water intake - then start worrying.

BTW- Welcome To BYC! We're glad your here:welcome

The chick is a week old today, and I have it raised inside. It seems to be growing faster and healthier than the chicks outside. Also, now that you mention it, it only seems to sneeze outside of its box, so I'd have to assume it is likely dust. I can try to post a video but the sneezing is relatively rare

At a week old, I would suspect that it's dust, bedding, feed or even possibly a little fluff that makes the sneeze. If the sneeze is rare, I would not worry.

We love to see babies in action, so if you want to post a video, we sure would enjoy it. If not photos of your little cutie would be good:)
