Chick still attached to egg shell

I have a chick that was malpositioned that just hatched. The chord or vein is still attached to the shell and really bloody. Have other chicks still hatching so can't really open the bator. Had another chick born shortly before and same thing only not as much blood on belly, and he seems fine now. Is this from being to humid in the bator or what? Can't find a way to post pic from FB.

I am far from an expert, but I would leave the little bugger right in the incubator and not lift the lid. Best of luck!

Don't pull it off.i found out about that the hard way.I break off the biggest chunk of shell,and leave this alone,It will come off in a day or 2 or even overnight


both of these were still hooked to shell
