chick stuck in egg

i was pretty confident here is my story

last November i had 12 eggs in bator day 24 2 hatched 6 piped and peeping. they piped the previous night i woke up and went to school most nerve raking being at school with babies in trouble mom was off work so she stayed at home and watched them and i told her if there was a problem to call the school and ask for me so i could decide if i needed to come help. nothing happened so when i got home i saw that there was no improvement. but 24 hours was still not up so i waited until 7pm and started a little bit at a time. a little help wait an hour or two see if they made any progress did it again and again. stayed up all night. i helped out six sticky chicks. lucky for the other family that the bator is in my room since i do all the work and they enjoy my babies. anyway i helped six stayed up all night went to school failed a test. went to the teacher explained my night and she being an animal lover let me study and retake the test and i made a 94. anyway glad i was able to help you.

Just wanted to give an update and personally tell crazy chicken that I think you are a genious.
I did what he advised me to do and this morning "Grace" is feathered peeping and socializing with the other chicken that is in her little box. Whew... what a day yesterday was.
I am new to this forum and was very inexperienced when I started this project. I thought that if you bought an expensive incubator you would eliminate all the problems that come with guesswork. I was certainly wrong in that thinking.
I would like to thank everyone for being so helpful and kind. You all made a horrible experience a whole lot better.
This chick is a beautiful healthy Blue Splash Maran. I can't wait to see her when she is fully grown.

I have gone as far as this:

It is VERY important that you do not take the chick from the egg. They need to adsorb the yolk. When they peep and even start zipping, they are adsorbing the yolk. If you break the cord to the yoke, the chick will more than likely die. Be patient, they are breathing and adsorbing. I have about a 60 percent hatch success when it gets to this point. I really do not like to do this, but some chicks are really important to get.

I usually only have to give them an air hole to breath and they do the rest. Some are so big that it comes down to the pics.
