On of my Easter egger eggs pipped at 6 am on day 19. By 11:30pm that night it started zipping but its wing got "glued" to its head and has now been stuck. It also has some yellow stuff near the bottom? 20180228_095646.jpg What can we do? 2 chicks have hatched since this one got stuck.

If it was shrink wrapped it would be enclosed. If you feel it is in dyer straights, remove the bird from the bator. Slowly pull off the shell. Use warm water to loosen the goo. If you don't have a brooder set up, place in back into the incubator when you are finished. You only need to loosen the goo from the wing to it's face. the rest will eventually dry up and fall off.

We got it out of the egg!! It was stuck to everything like cement. It had some clearish yellow stuff hardened on to its belly maybe the rest of the yolk?

Also, we have 2 eggs that pipped 36 hrs ago and can see their beaks moving around but no zipping. Any idea what's going on?

This little one is probably gonna need some physio if it's been stuck that long. Firstly it's important to wash all of the dried gunk off otherwise it will not be able to dry off and fluff up so will chill very quickly. You can run it under a warm faucet and use a child's paintbrush or similar to get the gunk off, then give it a really good, GENTLE pat dry. Uncurl it, stretch its legs out, make it the right 'shape' and then pop it back in the incubator to dry off properly and fluff up. If you have nutri drench, I would highly recommend you very carefully dip its beak in a drop of it on your finger or the back of your hand and allow it to 'lap' it up. A drop once and hour for the first three hours should give it a good boost. Then keep an eye on how it's doing. It may well need some leg, neck and wing stretches/exercises to get it properly functioning and able to stand. It may well have curled toes too, which can be fixed with 'chick shoes' (just google it :-))
