Chick with broken leg- please help!!

See what I'm talking about? It's really weird, because the break isn't there.. I thought picking at first but now I don't know.

That is strange....

That is technically a chicken ankle.

Can she put it down? Does she get upset when you manipulate the leg in any way? Is that little bubble on the back soft or hard?
She doesn't get upset..she lets me move it back and forth, and every once and a while I see her clench her toes. And the weird thing is she can jump really high on one leg!! Like, its crazy. I think the part sticking out is softish, but the swelling is harder.

Chicks with slipped tendon leg deformities can get those little sores on their legs from pressure. I would put some poultry vitamins in the water. Chicks with slipped tendons frequently stand like the pic below. Here is some info on how to treat one:

Alright, sorry for holding you all up on updates (lol I'm tired so i don't know if that's a correct use of words). Anyways, her leg is seemingly starting to heal in that spot, and it's hard? It's weird, and I also noticed that when I touch it she gets all talkative. So I'm assuming it's painful. I'll continue to put blue kote on it and I have been reading that PDF on how to take care of avian fractures. I'll update you guys as soon as possible!

You should put a little cast on it and bring it to the vet but what ever you do do not let them kill it only if you reallly have to but you need to try to keep him or her alive
