Chick with broken leg- please help!!

I just bandaged her leg last night, so I'm hoping it will help, I also put on more blue kote and some hen healer. I used a self stick bandage over some cloth bandage so I think it will stay.. hopefully it starts to heal. Also, the bump has gotten hard, and it almost feels like bone..any thoughts?

Usually, if there has been a broken bone, when it heals it forms a callus, a hardened thickening of the bone. But the chick's hard thickened area is at the hock joint (knee) is that correct? That might be swelling in the joint, or it could be healing. I'm not really sure, not a vet. Is it reddened or painful, and is the chick getting around okay?

The hock and the knee are different joints. Not splitting hairs, I didn't know it till I saw this either.

Ok so I saved that pic so I could circle where the break is and where the swelling is. Break is in green, swelling is in purple

Don't know if this helps, and when I took off the bandage yesterday the scab was healed and it the swollen area was nice and soft from the hen healer. It seems as if it may have gotten better, and so i put on more blue kote and re-bandaged it. I'll unwrap the bandage in 2-3 days and take pics cause I forgot

From your pictures of the chick itself the bump is here.

After 10 days I would think the break is almost if not completely healed. So at this point you may have to work with what you have.

Can you post new pictures? That may be helpful.
