Chick with hurt foot...how to help it heal and length of healing??

Our favorite chick (now 5 weeks old) hurt her foot. I believe one of the children tried to close the brooder and her foot was there. She isn't walking much..hobbling mostly but she is eating and drinking. Just looks a bit swollen and painful to put pressure on. Any suggestions for helping her heal and how long? I have her separated in her own place that I made even smaller so she actually just rests. She has food and water. I have no idea how long it takes...I feel like it is a sprain of sort as I don't see any bones misplaced or anything. She misses her other chicks so I want them back together as soon as she can not hobble everywhere. Thanks!

watch out. Sometimes what starts as limping ends up being something terrible. I haven't ever had an injury that was actually an injury, so I have no idea how long it might take to heal. Just keep a good eye on her.
