I had a nervous breakdown after the cull - DH said he will not let me do that again, he'll take care of it from now on even if it does his head in.

The chick with the curled feet and ankles is now 3 weeks old and in splendid shape, thanks to the pipe cleaner braces!

Oh my. What a traumatizing thing for you. So glad you have DH if it happens again. I had a newborn with severely contorted legs and hips that I had to cull last year. I was heartbroken. It would have suffered terribly if I hadn't culled. Just remember you did the right thing.

So glad Flipper is doing well!!!!
