Chick wobbly?!

Okay I'm going to have my dad pick some up tomorrow.anything I can do for her in the meantime

I've never really dealt with coccidia myself, but there are lots of other people on here who have. You could try looking up some threads on it.

I don't know if force feeding such a weak or young chick is a smart idea, but when Mavis had an injury and wouldn't eat, we used small pieces of water-soaked bred and scrambled eggs (cool, not warm) and pried open her beak. We put them back on her tongue and she would swallow them. She began eating on her own eventually.

I put electrolytes in both waters(two groups) and put her in the calmer bunch on the side to sleep, I'll be brining in Beebe in the morning to keep her warm and maybe make her feel better until my dad gets back from town ( we live half hour away) he should be home early afternoon... And I'll treat all babies and switch foods. And keep her hydrated and try to give her some small bits of food if she will take it.. She also pooped and it was normal and solid.

She made it through the night with the calmer chicks. we gave her some electrolytes or save a chick water in a little syringe and she had some. i havent seen her drink and shes sleeping in a little towel. Beebe has 2 of the 25 babies with her to see how she does and we are going to add a few more later to see how she does.

She's doing better but still close to the same. She's still wobbly and holds he wings out with a low head. But she's been drinking her electrolytes and water but still slept all day.

We lost her last night
