Chick won't hush!

I have two 4 week old red stars who have been separated from the rest of the chicks because of fighting. I know they want back in but they just can't be trusted overnight with the others. They're in their own brooder just making a low trilling sound and it's working my nerves. Is there any way to hush them? It's totally dark in there and warm enough. I think they just want to go home. Lol

The trilling means they are happy. It's the constant cheep-cheep that shows distress. At least that is true for my chicks!

Nothing to do but buy those handy dandy ear plugs or ear muffs

Lol. I didn't need the earplugs after all! They stopped after a little while and zonked out. Aaaaahhhhh... I love my babies but last night was rough. Lol
