Chicken acting like she’s laid

Will copy this advice. We’ve just got into fermenting. We did give her probiotics yogurt, cider vinegar parasite treatments the works. If she wasn’t trying and being so distressed we’d have kept on. We can’t go back and wouldn’t want to still be where we were Friday but thanks for replying and I expect stuff like this will happen in future. I did not get that advice when I asked the questions. I felt so alone with it to be honest.
They all love the fermented layers and barley touch the dry anymore. I know about feeling alone, no one had or has answered me yet on why she's not laying but at least she's looking and feeling better. Thanks for your reply :)

Hope this isn't hijacking the question, but regarding culling, we have culled cockerels and older hens, but haven't had much luck with making them tender, no matter how long we've cooked. I even followed a 5 day long coc au vin recipe found on this forum. Any advice on that?
Did you rest the cleaned carcass in the fridge for 3-4 day before cooking or freezing?
