oh boy do dh and i have it bad....ran to lowes yesterday to get wood for a chicken tractor and a dog gate for the backporch
made the mistake of stopping in @ tsc....just because...to see what they had
and yes they had something we didnt....golden comets/gold sex-links?
well the lady there that actually knew a little something about chixn helped me pick out what we think are pullets...gotta wait and see for sure
ended up w/ 6 of those...plus.............
some moron college boys bought 6 chicks 2 days before and werent taking care of them so some nice college girls brought them back....i got them for free.....plus.......................
a little black banty that was "tiny" and sickly looking...needless to say...he is one of the ones we've named..."Tiny"
got up this morn and one of the freebies that i think was a rir banty (there is such a thing right?)....had passed away...oh well...such is life...
