Thanks for all the warm welcomes, I have to admit I have been lurking on this site for months now! This has been my go to spot for any questions us new parents have had. The company that double our order did double charge us but quickly refunded that portion to us once we contacted them in shock of course!!

Welcome to BYC! You've had quite an adventure. Sorry about the loss of your RIR to the hawk. Unfortunately, there are other predators out there as well just as anxious to make a meal out of your chickens, and I would recommend (if you haven't done it already) perusing through BYC's section on Protecting Your Flock From Predators at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center/tag/predators-and-pests/ And don't spare the expense of getting hardware cloth (as opposed to chicken wire). It has spared chicken owners many tears. Good luck in predator proofing your flock.
