I moved from the country to town and needed a new coop so heres what i did.
We had an old wooden dog house so I tore it apart. Then I added a nice flat plywood floor walls and roof. I added a nice door to help me collect eggs. I painted the coop purple and added the pop door. For the pop door i cut a whole out of one wall aprox 12" by 12" for the bantys and hinged it then drilled a hole in the roof to run rope through from the outside of the coop to the I hook. Then I added a 9 sq ft run. I found two HEAVY pallets at the local lumber store. I set them in a half square against the house and added the coop on the last open end. I found some nice gold paint to paint the fence All I have to do nowis add nest boxs and a roost and paint the inside and ill be done.
Materials List
2- 3x3 Pallets
1- 2x3 Doghouse
3- 2x3 pieces plywood
2- 2x2 pieces plywood
4- Hinges
1- 3x3 Chicken Wire
