Not your Mama's chicken and dumplings
3-4 chicken breast
1 stick butter
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup milk
2 cups chicken broth ( actually I use a 14oz. can)
1 can cream of chicken soup
boil the chicken breast and cut into bite size pieces
melt stick butter and put in the bottom of a 9 x 13 casserole dish
place chicken on top of butter (do not stir)
mix flour and milk and pour on top of chicken ( do not stir)
mix cream of ch soup and broth and pour on top of flour mixture ( do not stir)
bake at 325 for 35 min or until brown
it will look soupy... that is ok it is supposed to be
