Chicken and rabbits in same area?

My rabbits are in hutches within the coop and all is well. They can not get to each other, so no fighting of any sort. Basically they just ignore each other. No sickness either.

I have a flemmish giant buck and I often put him in my chicken run for exercise. He has spent the night in there a few times and have no problems. He has never tried to escape or dig. Most of the time he sleeps in the shade

Maybe if they'd lived on the same farm for a while. Last month, I brought a new bunny home for my girl's birthday. A week later, she was dead and a week after that my other girl's pet chicken was dead too. We think the bunny was sold away from her mother too young (less than 8 weeks, but we didn't know) and brought something with her she couldn't handle without her Mom's milk (antibodies). And the chicken hadn't been around any other animals since she was a chick, so no immunities, we think.

So, I urge extreme caution, especially if they're pets, or many tears may ensue.
